As a graphic design intern, I had the opportunity to help Madhouse Creative LLC strengthen its commitment to representation in the marketing/advertising field. Work included helping form brand strategies, brainstorming project concepts, and assisting other visual communication professionals with ongoing projects.

Tera Kaia: Media & Design Associate

Focused on learning and gaining practical design skills. Allowed space to learn and grow, but also gain real-world experience as an active participant in a creative team. Areas of exploration include media creation, brand identity, and user experience. Daily tasks involve the translation of media assets and copy into final design assets. In addition to ongoing media campaigns, shadowing larger creative projects will teach new skills.

Burton Scholars: Design Internship

The Burton Scholars design internship was a partnership between Keyah Madaris and the CSG alumnae. As a new organization, Burton Scholars needed a visual mark, brand style guide, and design elements for 3 key campaigns. 
Keyah Madaris gathered information on the client's current and future vision for the organization. Developed and refined the visual mark following 3 rounds of client input and organization needs. Finalized with developed brand identity guidelines for future applications of the visual mark and promotional campaigns.

Black Valve Media: Video Production Intern
Cleveland, OH
 
Job shadowed the video production company, Black Valve Media. Daily tasks entailed video editing music videos for clients for upload on YouTube. Learn how to optimize time while producing handoff-ready work.
Behind-the-scenes experience included photographing the owners working with clients to document their hands-on experience. As a team member, tasks also required traveling to help set up, tear down, and return equipment.
